Bet you a dollar you couldn't fire four arrows from my bow, your hands and arms would be shaking after the second and probably couldn't even draw the fourth time. Nothing personal, it is hard to do and take a great deal of strength.
Longbow? Hell yes, that's hard but Olympic-style target archery with a recurve? It's not nearly as demanding (physically), the average draw weight is what, 50 lbs?. Granted, you do the whole 72-shot round and it takes a toll on your arms and shoulders, but it doesn't exactly take a prime physical specimen to be good at it.

Bet you didn't know you were talking to the Humboldt State University Intramural Archery Champion of 1984 and 1985 did you? Most people don't, I keep it quiet because I got tired of all the autograph signing...
