Has anyone here practiced kendo/kumdo in korea? I am planning a trip there this summer (to visit my relatives and party) and I wanted some input as to the quality/difficulty of the kendo training there. I know that there are alot of fake dojangs here in the states, but i doubt they are as prevalent over there. Also, from watching some of my friends i could tell some subtle differences in their form (for instance, they dont seem to regard the full swing as important as the shorter, quicker one, even for beginners). But besides this, Im curious to know what its like to train over there. I might also stop by Japan just to visit and maybe train there too .
