Sometimes having too much time is not so good either. I've been down with stage III cancer since I got home from the Dallas tournament last spring. Only got limited use of my left arm and hand a couple of weeks ago, just enough so I can sort of type. I am so bored.
In case I don't get a chance later I have to confess that I "borrowed" the bogu picture and re-wrote the kendo article, without attribution, 10 years ago for the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation magazine when I was editor. There, I feel better now.
As if you are the first. Most of the opening description of kendo on the AUSKF and my site is from earlier U.S. Championships programs. I added some of it.

My site has a lot of other content that I have written or created from sources and things I have been taught or gotten hold of over the years. Most of this stuff is not really new, just scattered all over. My effort is to bring it all together. It is not meant to replace books or training, but to give a place where you can get information when you are stuck. The Hakama folding gets a lot of traffic.

Make sure you take care of your health.
