There were 3 instances...though only one was directly related to Kendo practice.
1. I was walking back to my dorm and the ground was icy. I slipped and fell on my wrist. The next morning, I went to the convenience store that was across the street and I fell again and landed on the same wrist. Needless to say, it hurt really badly and I had to skip a few practices due to that.
2. I dropped my friend off back to his place after a kendo practice. When I left his apartment, I twisted my ankle when I was going down the stairs (I was in the middle of corn fields in Indiana so there was no light). The worst part was that I heard a popping noice when it happened. I was able to drive home afterwards, but the inability to take aspirin and ibuprofen (allergic to both) really put me in a bad spot. Tylenol just doesn't help in this sort of situation so I resorted to ice.
3. I don't know what happened during Kendo practice, but at the end, I wasn't able to sit in seiza because I had a muscle spasm under my left foot. It got better really quickly though.
