Default Selling house, 20 year old boiler?
If You were in the process of buying a house that had a 20-year-old (although working) boiler, would you consider that it needed replacing and try to negotiate a lower price on that basis? If so, how much do you expect to lose?

We are looking at a newer, more efficient boiler and wondering if the financial indicators will add up. Our current one is ~ 15 years old and we will most likely move in 4-5 years, probably not long enough to recoup the cost of fuel economy, but if potential buyers try to knock a few kilos off to replace it, then it obviously has something to do with it
