I played Meridian 59 way back and remember people complaining about pkers. Really, that is what mmporgs are for.
That is the reality of most mmorpgs but IMHO a sad one, i share the same view as Rekru and i don't think it takes that much "skill" to pk, choose the most efficient class at "pvpying" for your char, get the best equipment and 90% of the job is already done. If PvP has a purpose in the game then i don't mind, like for instance in events or duels but if a game sys lets players abuse it as in the last game i played then i'm totally against it, nothing better than an online FPS game as far as pvp is concerned.

Real person beats AI any time, and if you're not pking, hunting pkers or running from them, then you're just in a chat room.

When an MMORPG is only about what you said, i would consider that game an MMO, the rpg aspect would at least require doing quests, crafting and selling stuff, general game events based on a story etc...
