My boyfriend's mom loves restoring old furniture. I admire absolutely everything she does. Danielle gets really angry when she drags chairs home from the dumpster. But she makes them real works of art. You can’t be angry at this, you just need to encourage it. I look at the results of her work and remember the abundance of old cheap apartments that I rented as a student. Now I understand that even that "grandmother's" furniture could be changed beyond recognition. But at that time I didn't have imagination, although now I lack it too, haha. Almost all the furniture in our house is handmade and I love it. The only thing I didn't allow this active woman to do was garden furniture. It seems to me, I can't rely only on the ability to give a beautiful appearance to an object. I chose my brand new garden set because I hope for its reliability and durability. Moreover, the sun in our state doesn't shine every day.
