Default Investing in a complete new desktop set up
I'm a mild DIY enthusiast, looking to invest in a new set up that will last for about 6 years and handle my architecture programs and my daughter's art and audio evolution.
I have built a rig before, but it's been a while. Likely I'll tweak and overclock hardware initially and then will leave it be, unless I change hardware/software.
Revit is the main driver of my minimums, but there are also some audio and gaming demands.
I used the custom system builder on this webpage and at Newegg to start.
I referenced system recommendations for the various programs and input devices I plan on using.
I also check in at Dell and Puget, https://www.pugetsystems.com/recomme...it-171/Buy_194
I also looked through reviews at Tom's, Cnet, and Amazon.

Here's where I have landed, any comments or questions I should be asking would be most helpful,

System minimum requirements:
CPU - i7 10th generation
Cooling - best for final configuration
Mother Board-best value per chipset and priorities
GPU- assuming 1, but am open for a 2x set-up. Revit rated may mean a Quadro RTX. If not then I am aiming for a RTX 3080 +/-, but could be talked down
RAM-32GB min, expandable to 64 min, assume newer MB specific versions.
Main Storage-M.2 500GB SSD, 1TB preferred
Secondary Storage- 1 TB min, M.2 and/or SSD preferred. back-up or Raid discussion?
Power-min to cover initial install without maxing out, enough for expansion
Case- big enough for initial install, room for expansion
Other- Willing to pay for better: acoustics, power efficiency, advanced inputs, quantity of inputs, cooling. Gamer case or LED's are non-deciders

Initial Build and accessories Draft #1:
CPU-i9 10850K
Cooling-Deepcool Castle 360EX AIO
Mother Board-Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Master
GPU-PNY Nvidia Quadro RTX4000 (maybe a Geforce RTX3080 card, not certified by Revit, but probably still OK)
RAM-Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x32GB DDR4 3200
Storage-3x Adata XPG Sx8200 Pro 1TB SSD, PCIe connections
Power-EVGA supernova 220-G5-X1 850w
Case-be Quiet! PRO 900 full tower
Monitor-LG 24" Ultra 21:9 3440x1440 IPS, G-sync
Speakers-Presonus E3.5" pair studio monitors
Keyboard-Logitech Ergo K860 wireless
Mouse-Logitech Ergo MX Vertical
audio connector in lieu of any additional cards, Focusrite Scarlett Solo
headphones-Sony MDR7506 headphones
mic-Audio Technica AT2020 plus boom kit and XLR wiring
Webcam-Razer Kiyo
Printer/scanner -TBD
