My thoughts on what women really want in a man: 1. Make her laugh...a lot. 2. Be a good listener (Biggie) 3. Co-operate but never compromise your core values. 4. Constantly come up with new and exiting ways to make her happy. 5. Be unpredictable. 6. Give a good....(Fill in the blank with your preferred sexual innuendo) 7. Be honorable. (I.e., do not lie, cheat or steal, and always do what you say you will do.) 8. Never engage in verbal or emotional battles with them. ~You will loose anyway. Pretty simple. I'd say Kendo comprises many if not all of these, save perhaps #6. So the idea of groupies? I wonder why there aren't more of them...
