Feh, I don't see why you should have to be in bogu. In fact, the pictures would have too much of a 'same-ness'. Some in hakama and kendogi would be cool. Hell, be in a teeshirt and trakkies for all i care - i'm sure most of us started off there (or are still there...)

Wouldn't that rather defeat the point of a kendo/iaido/jodo/naginata calendar? We may as well call it "bunch of people who happen to like kendo/iaido/jodo/naginata" but I think you are right in the respect that it doesn't necessarily have to be people in bogu but it should be themed towards those arts.
