the truth of the matter is that there are more men out there who rape women, than women who 'cry wolf'.
I don't know about that, one of my ex-girlfriends claimed she's been raped, but she couldn't keep her story straight, it was different every time she talked about it, which eventaully got to be pretty much every time she wanted an excuse for something. An ex-girlfriend of a good friend of mine tried to isolate him from all his buddies by claiming that pretty much everybody he knew had tried to rape her at one time or another, including one when the alleged attacker was in another state, I think I was the second or third she accused. He didn't really believe her the first time, by the 5th or 6th unlikely or impossible alleged attack he was pretty much ignoring it. Another friend served on a jury where they concluded the sex was consensual, until she started feeling guilty about it, at which point the woman cried rape. Based on my experience, it's not nearly are rare as you seem to think.
