Somewhere after Conway.
then the worlds your oyster.

like its been said in previous posts about america, its just way too diverse to simplify state by state in the exact demographics youve listed. they all have some sort of poverty, crime, luxury and project housing, good and bad roads.... too much to generalize by a state. weather is somewhat relative too. the southeast is going to have hurricanes. its honestly not a big deal. just stay at home and dont drive through one, youll be fine. unlike an earthquake, you get days of warning to know ahead of time.

but it sounds to me you want to just find a nice suburban area. you can find them around any major city. US economy is so commercial that youll find mega shopping centers, movie theatres, grocery stores, kmart, walmart and target in any area that is convenient and where ppl live within a 10-20 minute drive. being close to a bigger city allows more opportunity to go into the city at night for fun and diversity.
