Is the simple inclusion of Ben Affleck in the cast enough to justify a film being deemed "bad" by default?

Not quite, Dogma and Mall Rats were good films.

A film I despise with a passion is SPICEWORLD. That is quickly followed by any film with Steve Martin in, who seems to be typecast as a c#nt.
