hello everybody i have done kendo before i started when i was fifteen and pact it in when i went to live in south africa at the age of 20 i found a club when i was there and trained for a while untill i had a bad car crash and damaged my lumbar area ,now twelve years have past and ive been doing karate for the past year to get myself back on track aiming to get back to kendo we don't have a kendo club anywhere near me untill i heard my club is starting kendo class's in september what i was wondering is can i ever really be able to get back into kendo knowing how much is involved in the training many thank's danny
Hi Danielson

If your lumbar injury hasn't stopped you training in Karate then it won't stop you training in Kendo...

My only concern would be whether you have any damage to your feet, ankles, lower leg... as you know, Kendo would certainly aggravate these...!
