hehehe, its nice to know Im wanted! I made the mistake of not declaring my boots - any footware with a spec of mud on it needs to be declared at customs... now I know.

Not just footware, they examine tent stakes too, and neither Australia or NZ like fruit or jerky.

I guess being in the Nelson area you were in beech forests.
