I think that horror movies are one of the hardest geners to make. there is a fine line between scary and preposterous ( taste and budget).

but a couple that made uneasy were:

• the believers (an american couple returns home from africa, wtih more baggage than they started)
• the rainbow and the serpent (about an incredulous researcher dragged down into voodoo world)
• the exorcist ( i still recall the piano soundtrack)
