If it's a sports car, I think it's a wash which transmission you get. Buy the one you like, this is not a rational purchase anyways. 30K what? US dollars? In the US or Italy?

If US dollars in the US, I'd personally stretch the budget a little and buy an S2000 or the 350Z convertible, but I like convertibles.
