It's nice to find a significant other who shares your interests, etc., but I personally wouldn't make it a top priority to find one that fits 1-2 key interests -- although it's nice when it happens spontaneously. Don't underestimate your ability to introduce people to your interests (but don't impose them either). I've known many people who introduced their SO to a different religion or an activity, and it's worked out fine for them.
