Hey guys. I was just looking at my Kendo uniform from last year and remembered there is a story to it, but I wanted to see if I could get details about it.

Apparently in Kyushuu there was a University Kendo club that were very strong, basically feared by other Kendo clubs. I think my Japanese uncle (who is a Kendo teacher) went to this University because he gave me the uniform. I know that it had a big reputation because everytime a Sensei saw the Kanji on the back of my Hakama they would be very impressed. Now they catch, apparently members of this University team did something so shameful that the Kendo club was shut down and no longer exists- does anyone know about this?
