I too have tatami, shoji and futon. Also a nice thick old style yukata to sleep in during winter time.

Anjin matey you have to tie them up with ropes and hang them from the rafters man.

Speaking of that I know a Sogo bujutsu ryu down here that specialises in hojojutsu (tying up with ropes).

If the typhoon doesn't hit I'll be watching them very closely at the Ebmu on Sunday.

I've yet to see an English style country garden in Japan.
