Talked about cramped - i have a bookshelf, chest of drawers, second narrow chest of draws with a narrow mirror, cheval mirror, wardrobe, tv + cabinet, computer desk & chair, bed (though at least the bed is small, it's an extremely comfortable couch with no back or sides about the size of a single), big heavy storage box that I use as a bedside table, another wicker narrow drawers thingy that contains mostly books, a large precarious towering pile of storage boxes and a big oil heater. Oh, and I'm a slob just to make it more messy and crowded Somehow I can always find room to air my bogu

Funny how one can live in Japan with Japanese wife and still not be allowed to do the whole thing... Think of it this way, if I weren't a medieval re-enactor I'd prolly get annoyed if my partner wanted things like coats of arms, wallhanger broadswords and battle axes, coats of armour and tapestries around the place.

It's like the saying I suppose "the further away from Ireland, the more Irish the Irish get". A lot of people here get t-shirts, bedspreads and the like with various Asian characters on them where as over there they get (so I've been told) stuff with English words on them, like BISCUIT. The culture isn't ours so it excites us.
