Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure where else to post it(I'm hoping someone here can help me out, plus I'm afraid it will hinder my kendo practice). About two weeks ago, I was playing rugby and I skinned my knee pretty badly, however it healed up and it was fine. Later that week though, after kendo practice a friend tackled me and ripped open my scab. Now it's worse than ever. The problem I have is, the scab will heal and scab up throughout the day. But as soon as I get it wet (like take a shower) it will soften up and go back to how it was in the beginning. I even skipped a day to really let it scab up, and it still goes back to the soft stage again. To top it off, while it's in this "soft" stage, it has this kind of bright-greenish/whitish puss-like stuff on it(I don't believe it's infected, I treated it really well after it broke open). I know, you're all probably thinking "just don't get it wet in the shower" but if you've never tried it, you don't know how hard it is to prevent water from running down your leg. Anyway, isn't this un-characteristic of scabs? I've never had a scab that does this. Are there any scab-specialists out there that have any experience with this sort of thing? Thanks for any help, -Jordan
