Hello!

Ja,richtig. It is really a bit formal speaking that Way in German, but i´am learning french, english and learned korean and next comes the japanese language and i can tell you that learning every language contains this formal sounding stuff. Especially when it comes to discussion with people you know very good, slang comes in to use and you soon find out that no one seems to talk in the way you have learned it by all these "Grammer, vocabulary and Rollplay Stuff.

Soo da ne! I second that! Altough it was a good ground to stand on, I almost never use the japanese I learnt before I got here. Simply because jap. ppl like to cut things out. Ive studied german for 6years but for every day I stay here it feels like I forget some deutsch (which is sad, I dont wanna waste those 6years =)
