Some one once told me that children spend of most of their time learning while we are not busy trying to teach them. Decide what you want your children to be like and be that way you’re self. Since I have had a child I have come to appreciate the value of this advice. I don’t worry about how other people act around my child I worry about how I act and react.

One other thing of value I would add to that though is if you’re going to have a child, get a dog first. I learned a lot about how to be a good parent from raising my dog, but I also I child proofed my house, re-arranged my schedule, and took time out of my schedule in the same why I had to do for a child. Add to that the value of learning positive re-enforcement training and getting a dog was one of the best moves I ever made.
