Well then how about the other countries of the world? Isn't that the kind of thing that causes the problem?
Look at sharks. The shark population is dropping which causes all kinds of problems in the ecosystem.

Couple the overfishing with killing the reefs and we are engaged in a pincers action where we take out the top and the bottom of the food chain and it is only a matter of time.
