Did you notice the number of french names for the food? foie gras, purée, langoustine (the word is french, even if they are scottish), something which come from l'île de Ré, fleur de sel, the melon come from Charente, croutons is french too, and finally the petit fours.

You haven't had a sense of humour bypass recently have you?
