Playing devils advocate here,

wouldn't leg shots count in pre-war kendo and isn't one arm just a variant of katsugi, and Kiai is a personal thing.

TBH I can see what you mean. Mr Pink does look as though he has done some MA whereas the other guy just looks like a bit of a div.

Must be a BKA kendoka?
