There's a cheese that they do in Italy that is full of maggots. You eat the maggots along with the cheese!

Maggots are your friends!

And are one of the few meals that get to return the compliment (maggots not the cheese). You are probably aware that some hospitals use them to clean out the decaying flesh in certain wounds.
