If you'd like to take a quantum leap in your kendo over the summer, you should consider attending some kendo summer camps, like the one sponsored by the AUSKF in Atlanta. http://www.auskf.org/

When I attend my dojo's weeklong annual kendo camp, I've found that there's usually a noticeable bump-up in my kendo -- after recovering from the grueling training schedule, that is. There's really no substitute for eating, sleeping and walking kendo all the time for a week.
If your schedule and budget allows for three days and travel to California the NCKF summer Kendo Camp is July 6-7-8 in San Jose. It's closer to Flagstaff than Atlanta. Don't miss the AUSKF National Championship Tournament in Las Vegas next year - that's even closer to you.
