I find no harm in medicine. If something artificial is going to help cure a disease, you bet I will take it. I find there are just some problems with medicine. I don't remember who said it, but why is it that anyone can get all the viagra they want and more but we can't get medicines we actually need to people who need them. That and the whole commercialism of medicine so that now we see ads for them on tv so instead of my doctor saying that I should take ___ medicine, the general populace is being brainwashed into thinking, oh, that zanderoft whatchamacallit I saw on TV looks right for me, let's ask my doctor...

The problem is not the medicine, it's the people who misuse them... although doesn't this phrase apply to just about anything...
