Hayashi Sensei is a student at UC Davis. I met him first when he was teaching the UC Davis kendo club. We were both surprised to see each other at the Sacramento Dojo. He seems like a friendly instructor. So when he tells you how to fix your technique you wont feel like a total moron.

Are you a student there? If so when did you start? I had a couple of friends down there, but they are all done now. One still lives there. I was only in the club for like half a year. I graduated in '99, then started up at Palo Alto..

Hayashi sensei like myself is an eng grad student so I thought that was cool.
