I know it's nice to see a monetary incentive for household chores, but think of the economics of it in a different way.

How much money do your parents outlay for you as it is, in terms of paying for your food, the electricity and water you use, your internet, etc? Yes, they have a parental responsibility to you for bringing you into the world, but arguments can be made (yay Confucianism) for your own necessary filial piety in return. It isn't like slavery where you do things for them and get nothing, or bare subsistence, in return (or at least I assume not).

Money would be nice. But you aren't exactly getting the shaft at the moment, either.
