What? You're innocent? It seems to me you asked a back-handed question and then immediately answered it yourself with some pretty derogatory conjecture. Kumdo/kendo - there's just not enough difference to fret over, unless you're concerned with nationalistic issues that shouldn't affect your training regimen anyway. If they have qualified instructors, you should try it before making a judgement.
