Seeing as you have captured a video belonging to someone else, (copywritten material) and altered it poorly, and then publically reposted it, all three actions without permission I assume, I would surmise that talking to her would only serve to bring these facts to light, and possibly facilitate a rather nasty lawsuit against you.

I'm certain your parents would love to have to pay large sums of money for no other reason other than due your stupidity.

So is this what you few weeks of Kendo has taught you?
I really thought we'd be over all of this by now...

I definately agree with Andrew on this because I can almost guarantee that if this was done by someone else on the forum with a better reputation, there would be a better reception to what is being done.

Really, we all know of his dubious past making lots of false claims and stuff. As of now, he's taken up real Kendo since July and seems to be having a lot of fun with it. Sure, there are the problems with the religion fiasco, but even now, he's been just posting them on his Myspace blog, where they should be (or a religious discussion forum at least).

Personally, I think it's a pretty decent attempt to alter a movie using that kind of technique (coming from the mind of someone who couldn't do this kind of stuff himself). While it's been done many times over, it's nice to be able to do something like that because you can.

The issues that you are apparently still talking about are months old and it's time to move on. He's done something that most people that come here don't do, which is starting real Kendo depsite claiming to be a high ranking teacher. That takes a lot of humility in it's self. If anything, it's SOMETHING you can congratulate him on.

Besides, if someone has a problem with the movie, they'll most likely just request it being taken down if they don't appreciate it. This was just a video taken outside and uploaded with little artistic intention from what I see. So I don't see any large lawsuits happining from posting something on a free, public forum that can be seen and commented on by anyone.
