My favorite part of the article;

We don’t want to come off as cynical here, but those of us who were playing a Sega Genesis back in 1992 dreamed of the kind of consoles we’d have 15 years later. Not many of us were anticipating that some of the most popular titles of the wondrous future would be shitty games sold at Burger King. Aint it the truth.

I think I was playing Valis III on the Sega Genesis.
