Interesting article. What struck me as surprising was the part about drawing the images directlyon your eye. I remember reading about that being used in the Swedish Airforce 3-5 years ago. But then, maybe they are talking about a bit more sophisticated variant (i.e. images and not just a laser drawn HUD)

Lots of cool technology around the corner. I want to play!
