Now I'm at a crossroads. I find him to be a good guy, and his students to be genuine people. Should I out his school for what it is to the university, or stay quiet about it?

Unless they are breaking any rules, then I don't think your university will give a crap.

Also, if you enjoy going there and the people are nice, then I don't see any reason why you should avoid it either.

This is of course all based on me not knowing anything at all who these guys are. If they are evil and eat babies, then I retract my statements
