It's true. Don't underestimate the stopping power of a well-thrown book in the dark!

Could not stop laughing at this.

This is an art form that you could learn by reading the book and then throw it.
Beginners could start with a paperback and as you progress move onto a hardback, then finally with the lights off, but watch out for those nasty papercuts.
