Dude you already have a weather that's cold most of the year. I mean you're supposed to long for warm stuff. You have to fight the cold in you, nothing better than hot alcohol.

Well yes and no...It's just that the (two) brands of sake I've tasted remind me of warm puke. Chilled works great (for me).

I think anything given as a gift will be appreciated as such. Looking for good sake is fun though.

Ah..Yeh thats true as well. He would definetely apreciate the gift...though if your friend eats at the finest resturants then buying him a "Happy Meal" still falls a bit short..at least in my mind.
