I didn't get #10000 because I was advised against it by my sensei because of our hot summers.

He told me a #8000 would be good enough and if I really wanted then i could get a #10000 set for seminars and exams.

I'm happy that I followed his advise. Even though when a group got #10000 gi and hakama I was very much tempted to buy me a set too as it does look really nice.
Actually, I thought about that.

I have the tetron-hakama for the heavy duty trainings and seminars, and I have one cotton hakama, which I bought without a proper consideration . . .
An eager beginner wishing a cotton hakama.
It's made of an utterly soft cotton,so I'm having difficulties with the pleats, and I don't mean after washing...
Beside that,it's an brilliant summer solution...
The #10000 is for the special occasions . . .
