Its just the flu. Outbreaks like this aren't all that uncommon, and in an enclosed environment were people are at close quarters for an extended period contagion spreads quite rapidly. So a few days with a bunch of folks on a train........you get the picture.
We saw a weird start to the cold and flu season, normally with a start around January for us, I didn't see alot of people at the office here till late April. Mostly upper resp. and gastric enteritis presenting.

Don't panic, Canadians are made of sterner stuff

we've been exposed to worse crap being spewed by our glorious Conservative and Liberal governments over the years.
