OMG.... -20 for a high?? Ouch... I think I've only seen that here about twice since I moved here 10 years ago. That's insane, for a high. If it was -32 (Assume w/out the windchill.), in the morning, it must've hit like what... -40 for the low?

No, -32F was the low, without windchill. But it hits -40 (C or F, same) here pretty much every year. I never quote windchill in temperature, pet peeve of mine. At -40 there's usually no wind at all anyways, you need to be in a hell of a low to generate that temperature. The weather is actually more miserable when it's a little warmer and the wind can come up.

I have never seen a Christmas without snow I think it would be a good change of pace.

About 10 years ago or so it was +10C (50 F) on Boxing Day. I have a picture of me repairing my deck in a sweatshirt, no snow in sight. Weird.

Ok, getting back to the subject at hand... I wonder if it was proper for the ranks to give a little something in appreciation to the sensei?

Did I not mention the Porsche? Nobody takes a hint around here.
