BTW: in reference to the above quote... how do you explain Kirk's Kobayashi Maru simulation "cheating" in Star Trek II?

I agree on the point about prequels not measuring up. After all, did you notice how shiny and new and MODERN everything looks on the Enterprise in the movie trailer versus how low-budget everything looked in ST:TOS??? Prequels do suck until they capture the look & feel of TOS.

All in all, I'll probably go and watch it once. If it really tanks in the box office, I'll wait for the Netflix...
