No offense, but there's actually quite a bit of evidence disputing that "fact", which has been taken for common knowledge for quite a number of years. http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/vitaminDToxicity.shtml

There's also a growing body of knowledge that indicates that the current RDA for vitamin D is much too low, and that vitamin D plays a much larger part in maintaining proper health than was previously believed. However, the part about consulting your doctor before doing anything is spot on!
Oh no... I'm not offended at all. I'll go read that and see what it says. Thanks! But, I still wouldn't want to overdose... You just never know. And, I agree that vit. D is very important.
