I'm sure this has been asked like 20 times already, but I can't find this exact question :

Is it acceptable to wear anything kendo-related outside of the dojo? Particularly on Hallowe'en. Hell, if it is, it'll be the most realistic and coolest costume.

[Speaking of which, my friend is going as a sleeping bag. Friggin' awesome. o_O]

It'll be like going as a hockey player. In your hockey gear. Except, depending on your demographic, you won't either be able to eat any candy through the mengane, or drink beer. And vomit will stain the futon.
