But I doubt I'll be going to trick-or-treat because of the fact that my friends all think they're too old to be dressing up. My attitude : "Hallowe'en is the one day you're allowed to be something you're not, except in my case, where I'm being something I am".

I went trick-or-treating until frosh year in college (that was the last year I went, because I was home for break) and if they gave out candy in the dorms I'd so do it. You're never too old for free candy and general tomfoolery.
