From my experiences of Episodes 1,2 and 3 of the Star Wars trilogy I'd have thought you would have had more success regarding light sabre skills if you asked on a baseball forum. A great deal of the Jedi sword arts revolved around one's ability to hit/deflect blaster bolts. Of course being able to hit such small bolts of energy moving at massive speed also requires jedi skills that only those blessed with high midichlorian counts can achieve, however hitting them like you would a baseball seems the accepted form. Although I guess if they're aimed at your leg you may have to adopt a cricket stance.

Meanwhile did anyone ever wonder why, in tsuba-zerai, did a jedi not just turn the light sabre on and off really quickly, thus bypassing the sith defence and then splitting them in half? Star Wars Force Unleashed 2 is out next month and it looks awesome!
