It's pretty simple: hand wash in cold water, hang dry. Don't put them in the dryer or they'll shrink.

I wear mine out pretty rapidly at the toes, probably from quick changes in movement during iai. Wish I knew how to reduce that tendency, because I go through several pairs a year and tabi aren't cheap.
