I would say kendo has spread rather nicely and you need look no further than the WKC to see that. I don't think at this point kendo has been integrated to the same degree as other martial arts and this can either be a good or bad thing (McDojo's for instance). Let's just hope that the propagation of proper kendo vastly outpaces that of charlatans, couch-samurai, and ninjers.
