Afghanistan is demanding a public trial for the US soldier who gunned down 16 civilians and wouldn't Americans demand the same if some foreign army was occupying the US and one of its trained killers had committed a similar act? Actually, wouldn't many of those same Americans take up arms against the invaders (and use any incident as "propaganda" to gain support against the occupiers?)
